Coming off of a successful first season in the minors where he batted .304, Jim Bottomley was promoted to the Houston Buffalos and appeared in this beautiful 8" x 44" panoramic (9th from left) with his teammates and members of the opposing Galveston Pirates from opening day, April 16th, 1921. The piece shows some age spotting scattered on the surface with slight nicks on the top edge and small stains on the left side but is otherwise in very presentable condition. We received this item rolled in a tube but it can easily be flattened and framed for optimal display.
