Here's an original Type I photo dating back to the 1920's and featuring Babe Ruth posing with a group of well dressed men in what appears to be a sandlot near an industrial park, likely in the vicinity of Yankee Stadium. The 5" x 8" photo is on thick cardboard stock, blank on the reverse side, and in overall EX condition with no creases. ADDENDUM: It has been determined that this photo was taken on the set of the movie, "The Thief of Bagdad" in 1924. Pictured with Ruth in the photo is Walter Johnson (with catcher's mitt) and the film's star, Douglas Fairbanks (second from left).
