If you're wondering where these strip cards originated, welcome to the club. Uncatalogued as far as we know, this strip of eight cards is being seen for the first time and might possibly have been a prototype that was distributed solely to the eight subjects in the strip. Since Hall of Famer Jim Bottomley appears third from the left and this strip comes from the Jim Bottomley estate, we don't have any evidence to the contrary. Fellow Cooperstown resident Mickey Cochrane, legendary golfer Bobby Jones and Tarzan himself, Johnny Weissmuller are also present.
