Although most avid collectors know about Ed Roush's inclusion in the Baseball Hall of Fame, not many are familiar with the accomplishments that got him there. Roush played 18 seasons in the major leagues, won two National League batting titles and topped the .300 mark thirteen times on his way to a lifetime .323 batting average. Just a 22 year old unknown when he was featured on this iconic 1915 Cracker Jack card, which would explain the misspelling of his last name, the offered collectible is one of only 4 examples that has been graded SGC 96 MINT 9. Expertly centered with four outstanding MINT condition corners, three of which could pass for GEM MINT, while the colors as well as the registration are stunning and elevate this card to a near unprecedented level. The reverse is well imaged with no evidence of staining or handling. A superior specimen that will soon find its way into a world-class collection.
