It's one of the most difficult cards from the 1914 Cracker Jack series to find in mid to upper grade, and of course, it has to be Honus Wagner. Even at the grade of SGC 60 EX 5, long time collectors have to be excited at the opportunity to land this "white whale" since only one has graded higher by SGC. The excellent centering frames what had become of the former superstar, now a 40 year old man with sunken cheeks and wrinkles around the eyes that could no longer perform at an elite level. The four corners each present at the EX level, showing wear and moderate rounding without any glaring liabilities. The reverse is a splendid presentation with a deeply black inked bio set upon a creamy white palate that is void of any staining or imperfections. It may not carry the swagger of MINT specimens from this series, but 1914 Cracker Jack collectors know it's one heck of a find!
