Using the same image that was carried over to his 1915 card, this 1914 Cracker Jack card of Walter Johnson is graded SGC 60 EX 5. While the centering favors the bottom edge and mild to moderate staining from the candy is evident, two characteristics that stand above and beyond the grade are the depth of the red color surrounding Johnson's image and the overall strength of the endpoints, much more keen-edged than normal at this grade level. Overall, a fine representative for a mid-grade specimen!
