Proudly offered next is the hobby's single finest example of Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown's 1914 Cracker Jack issue, the one and only example ever graded PSA 8 NM/MT, with none like it and none even remotely close (the next highest graded example is one copy in the EX/MT 6 tier). NM/MT top left and bottom right corners combine with MINT opposite points to join perfect GEM MINT edges around an image of the very highest order. With no caramel stains and just a touch of microscopic print dust concentrated in the lower left field of the impressively saturated red backdrop, this significant Hall of Fame issue from the notoriously challenging first Cracker Jack set stands as a pinnacle in the hobby, so uncommon are high-grade examples of any player (only 79 total PSA 8 NM/MT copies have ever surfaced from the whole set), let alone a Hall of Famer whose 2.06 career ERA still ranks third all-time, behind only Ed Walsh and Addie Joss. Very strongly encouraged, words simply cannot convey how utterly uncommon is the presented opportunity to distinguish your collection with this unparalleled Hall of Fame worthy relic from "The Famous Popcorn Confection."
