Miller Huggins shown here playing 2nd base for the St. Louis Cardinals wasn't as good a player as he was a manager. With a lifetime batting average of .265, and 9 homers to his career credit, he decided to move to the dugout where he led his team's to amass 1413 wins, six AL Pennants, and 3 World Series championships. The speedy Hall of Famer who stood a tall 5'5" is depicted here on this incredible specimen graded a perfect Gem Mint 10 by the strict grader's at SGC. The edges are sharp all around the card's perimeter, the colors eye-popping, and the black & white image displaying a production perfection quality more similar to today than, it's true 1913 creation. This is the one and only Gem Mint graded example.
