While it doesn't carry the enigmatic appeal of the expansive T206 series, most collectors prefer the sheer beauty and elegance afforded the T205 collection, especially when presented with specimens as regal and well-preserved as this PSA 6 copy of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb.
The stoic image of Cobb that graces the surface amid the red and green backdrop is accompanied by his outlandish accomplishments on the reverse; a .324 batting average in 1908 (very good), .377 in 1909 (amazing), and .385 in 1910 (unbelievable!). The centering of the featured card is dead-on with the usual chipping of the glistening gold border limited to the extreme endpoints and a small area on the lower left edge. The reverse shows some moderate toning and light spotting but the deep green print of the American Beauty reverse dominates the canvas. A particularly satisfying specimen for the grade, here's your chance to acquire a top-notch T205 example of "The Georgia Peach" graded PSA 6.
