One of the most recognized and desirable of all Ty Cobb tobacco cards, the presented T205 "Peach" has been graded PSA 5 EX but presents a number of superior characteristics that make it a perfect candidate for a rigorously hand-selected collection. The strong image of Cobb is enhanced by a susceptible red backdrop that displays thorough saturation with the green field encompassing the ruby interior exhibiting a bold glow of deep pigment. The gold borders, while experiencing some of the usual blemishes and marks common to the issue, provide an appealing evenness with the feel of gilt-framed artwork. The endpoints are completely in line with the grade while the reverse has some age spotting but offers a delightful canvas with light blue print. An extremely important card for any vintage collection, this is a fine example of a mid-grade Cobb.
