While most people would look at this T205 card of Hall of Famer Clark Griffith and marvel at its amazing appearance that has earned it a grade of PSA 8, we look at it with the same unprecedented awe and wonder why it isn't graded higher. First off, the image quality and color is dead-on accurate, the only imperfection being some barely noticeable stray print near the top border. The centering is almost a perfect bull's-eye, while the edges show no evidence of flecking from the gold coloring whatsoever. Even under intense magnification, more powerful that PSA uses for grading, you won't find a single thing at two of the corners and barely a speck at the other two. The reverse is equally pleasing, a bright white canvas with a well-printed bio. No card has graded higher than this, yet we feel a half-grade increase would be justified. Yeah, it's that spectacular!
