Maybe it's due to the status of the legendary T206 card bearing his image, but Honus Wagner cards of any series come at a premium. Then again, he was an 8-time National League batting champion that still ranks top 10 all-time in hits, doubles, triples, and stolen bases. The featured cabinet card of "The Flying Dutchman" is graded PSA 2 (MK) but has an appearance well above that mark. A slight crease on the left and what appears to be an indentation from a pencil mark factor into the grade. The image of Wagner is superb and the corners are more in line with examples several grades higher, showing squared endpoints without significant wear. The Sporting Life ad reverse shows a small spot but is well-printed with bold color. A wonderful example and an amazing value for the grade.
