Likely taken between 1916 and 1918, Joe Jackson and teammate Hap Felsch during an off-season hunting trip. The sepia-like, Type I - 1st generation image measures slightly larger than 3" x 5" and displays magnificently in spite of a diagonal crease at the bottom right corner which is really only visible upon close examination. The image itself enjoys nice balance as well as amazing clarity and great picture quality. Black ballpoint notations on the reverse identify Jackson and mention: "given by sister Gertrude Trammell." Obviously a one-time family keepsake that has now made its way into the collecting community.
