Graded NM/MT 8 by SGC. Of the thirty-five examples graded by SGC, the offered copy is the one and only NM/MT 88 (8) on record with none graded higher. Expertly centered with pure white borders as well as four top shelf corners that each come to exact points forming 90 degree angles. The color adorning the offered specimen is deep and intense with a backdrop of a sun-kissed sky providing perfection for the slate blue of Gibson's Pirate uniform. The surface is sublime with a regal smoothness not often associated with caramel cards. The reverse is well imaged and displays a list of the series subjects with no thoughts of staining present.
