After only a quick glimpse of the incredible white border, deep red pigment and pristine surfaces, the question on your mind won't be, "How does a 117 year old baseball card manage to stay so well-preserved as to earn a grade of SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5?", but rather "Why isn't it graded higher?" And it's definitely a fair question as this E98 example of Hall of Famer Frank Chance not only possesses a just-printed appearance but is bolstered by virtually perfect centering. Even under high magnification, the four endpoints all look strong enough to quality for a MINT grade if not better. If you're an early 20th Century card collector, this offering is truly exceptional!
