A few years back, the mere thought of a card that was printed well over a century ago receiving a GEM MINT evaluation from an independent grading service seemed like a completely preposterous idea. Oh, but that was before the famed "Black Swamp" find, a discovery of pristine pasteboards that had been hidden away for the duration of their existence. This E98 example of Chief Meyers comes from that find and is about as close to perfection as you can hope to encounter, with deep, precise imagery within an alabaster frame and endpoints that earn SGC's GEM MINT label. The like-new reverse is every bit as factory-fresh as the front.
