Infielder Jim Delehanty was one of five brothers that played in the major leagues and carved out a respectable 13-year career. A teammate of Ty Cobb with the 1909 Tigers squad that won the American League pennant, Delehanty earned a spot in the beautifully colored E93 Standard Caramel collection. The offered card rates as the second highest ever graded by PSA, possessing all of the rich color and a virtually MINT perimeter afforded its superior, however the slightly askew centering, typical for the issue, leaves it short of earning a higher assessment. Nevertheless, it stands as an incredible pasteboard that belongs in an exceptional collection.
