Graded VG/EX 4 by PSA. Issued by the American Caramel Company in much the same format as the exceptionally popular E90-1 issue. That said the offered card is so much scarcer than cards issued from the E90-1 set. To date a mere 6 examples of the offered card have been graded one level higher than the featured card with no copies graded higher than a PSA 5. Featured on this eclectic and rare candy card is the immortal Hall Of Fame shortstop Honus Wagner. Wagner’s image is profound and fully captivating on this pasteboard with a robins egg blue background surrounding the great ballplayer. The central image is well centered upon the ever-fragile card stock. The four corners show a mild uniform clean amount of wear that has transcended the corners into lightly rounded points that seem to give the card a badge of honor by having stood the test of time. The surface carries smoothness with a light gloss that pushes this card to the next level. The registration is exact while the printing on the reverse is precise with no evidence of product stains. A stellar card made available in strong VG/EX condition bordering on EX condition.
