Though a mediocre hitter throughout his 10 year career in Boston, Bill Carrigan's superior defensive prowess behind the plate helped the Red Sox to three World Series championships from 1912-1916. Carrigan appears on this nearly perfect T204 Ramly card, graded MINT by SGC. Now it's pretty rare to see the words "Ramly" and "MINT" in the same sentence, but in this case, it's completely justified. In fact, if not for a microscopic fleck of the vulnerable gold leaf that surrounds the ornate detail outside of the perfect black and white image, this beauty would likely be in a GEM MINT holder, an incredible accomplishment for such a delicate issue.
