Any vintage card with a grade of SGC 50 VG/EX 4, especially one as high-profile as a T206 Ty Cobb portrait with a red background, is going to have some liabilities that prevent a higher grade and it just comes down to a matter of personal preference as to what is tolerable. Most people prefer that it doesn't have one single "eyesore" but spread out in several areas to retain the card's eye appeal. This example does just that. A very pleasing specimen for the grade, this specimen of "The Georgia Peach" is positioned moderately toward the top edge with consistently rounded corners that land it at the equitable VG/EX assessment. However, the sharp delivery of Cobb against the bold, blood-red backdrop is the real highlight here, making a wonderfully attractive card for this grade level.
