Graded NM 7 by PSA. Presented is the alluring "Bat off Shoulder" version of Ty Cobb's T206 card. Prodigious in every respect with a scintillating application of deep German ink applied in an antique lithographic process that has resulted in a true zen-like moment for any advanced enthusiast. The surface is held captive under a layer of pristine semi gloss that powerfully moves this card from the also rans of every other Cobb T206 to a museum quality rendering that would make even the most ardent collector blush. The centering, while ever so slightly shifted to the left, is more than adequate for the guidelines of the opined grade. The four corners are at the very top end of the grade and could easily be confused with the extended points of a card from a higher graded level. The reverse is well printed and displays a Piedmont cigarette advertising application which is stain free. Just as Charles Comiskey once uttered: "The best player in the game, I'd take the Detroit man." And believe me, when you view this treasure you'd be hard pressed not to exude the same sentiment! Offered in outstanding and flattering NM condition.
