Graded NM 7 by PSA. The offered card hails as being one of only twenty-six examples out of the over 460 copies of this card graded that has been designated PSA 7 NM. The featured tobacco insert of the great Detroit Tiger, Ty Cobb is the bat of shoulder version of the four cards of Cobb from within the famed T206 series. A precisely centered image as well as a spectacular surface full of a fine layer of fragile glossing sets this card apart from the norm. The four corners show minor touches commensurate with the grade. The color is the real highlight of the offered card with spectacular attention to shading and detail of the image. The focus is astute and seems to lift the offered card to the next tier. The reverse features an Old Mill advertisement not necessarily rare but quite a bit more difficult and a welcome diversion from the norm. A spectacular card offered in NM condition.
