While most cards in an introductory series are "rookie" cards in name only, the T206 example of Tris Speaker does portray "The Gray Eagle" is an actual rookie having had two very brief stints with the parent club in 1907 and 1908. Speaker went on to bat .350 or better nine times and is the all-time leader with 792 doubles. Featured here is Speaker's rookie card, a respectable PSA 5 with excellent color, precise registration, virtually perfect centering, and light, even wear around the perimeter.
