Though the name on the card says Smith, this is actually a second issue of Detroit catcher Boss Schmidt from the E102 series. Centered toward the right edge, the card displays consistent VG/EX characteristics except for the central image, clearly superior with its deep yellow backdrop. It's the only one on the SGC pop chart at a grade of 50 VG/EX 4 with just one graded higher.
