A 15-year major league veteran, third-baseman Billy Nash teamed with Hugh Duffy, King Kelly, Kid Nichols and John Clarkson to win the 1892 National League Championship series with the Boston Beaneaters. Nash is pictured on this alluring N300 Mayo's card, centered toward the left side with a crease in the northwest corner but projecting far better than the PSA 2 grade suggests. The jet black reverse shows no significant problems and the edges and endpoints, while showing considerable wear, are superior to the grade. A great 19th Century card.
