A 30-game winner in 1890, pitcher Tom Lovett was actually back in the minors when this N300 Mayo's Cut Plug was issued, retiring a year later. Graded SGC 50 VG/EX 4, which is impressive given that only four have graded higher, the card shows the usual chipping and wear around the perimeter commensurate with the grade though the centering and image quality are spot on. A very attractive card from this highly desirable series.
