While little is known about the 1888 Scrapps set, it is believed that these colorful relics were "punch outs" from pages of a book, which would explain the thin paper stock. Presented is a partial set containing 7 of the 18 specimens with Comiskey graded SGC 30 GOOD 2 and Latham graded SGC 10 POOR 1. Each has the usual back damage that limits the grade to POOR to GOOD but from the front they appear as follows: Gleason POOR, Bushong EX, Thompson EX/MT, White GOOD and Welch VG/EX.
