Ezra Sutton played 18 seasons of professional baseball and was one of the National League's first players to collect 1,000 career hits, amassing an impressive .294 career average. This 1887 N172 card of Sutton is considered high-grade by Old Judge standards, sporting a very sharp frame with an ample photo that favors the right edge. The reverse shows some typical age discoloration, but overall, a solid example at the grade of SGC 40 VG 3.
