Here's a great baseball tobacco card from the 19th century featuring Hall of Famer Tim Keefe of the New York Giants. One of the game's earliest stars, Keefe amassed 342-lifetime wins and was the second player in baseball history behind Pud Galvin to eclipse the 300-win mark. The featured card is nicely centered with above-grade edges and endpoints to counteract the dark surface coloring common to Old Judge cards. A tremendous piece from the 19th century.
***ADDENDUM*** The offered card features the rare variation which misrepresents Hall of Fame pitcher Tim Keefe's first name as "Jim." The number of examples that have been identified with this error is in the single digits at present.
