As with many subjects in the Old Judge series, catcher Chief Zimmer appears in four different poses but not a single specimen of any variation comes within two grades of the EX/MT grade earned here. Very nicely framed and retaining its sharp, rectangular shape, this beauty is a remarkable survivor of over 130 years of wear and tear. Even the central image of Zimmer, which can vary greatly on Old Judge cards, is particularly bold and well-preserved. An incredible relic from the early days of baseball!
