As the first ever full-color baseball card set ever produced, the 1887 Allen & Ginter World's Champions remains among the most popular baseball cards of the 19th century. Ten baseball players were included in the issue, six of whom were eventually inducted into the Hall of Fame, including Timothy Keefe, offered here in EX 5 condition as determined by SGC. The image is delivered in stunning contrast and clarity with very few, if any, stray print marks on the white background. Just 3 examples have graded higher at SGC.
