Back in the days where winning "only" 20 games was considered a failure and pitching over 400 innings in a season was common, Hall of Famer John Clarkson was one of the earliest of the great hurlers. Winning 200 games in today's game makes you a superstar pitcher; Clarkson did it in 5 seasons, posting a 209-93 record while tossing anywhere from 466 to 623 innings each year. Presented is Clarkson's N28 Allen & Ginter's card, a sharp PSA 6 example that shows more than ample corners for the grade and a wealth of rich color that combines to offer a fantastic central image. The reverse is immaculate with no sign of aging or staining so common to the issue. A 19th Century classic!
