Typically the Winter Carnival of Sports was held in Montreal, Canada but was not in 1886. In its place the city of Burlington, Vermont decided to stage a similar event. The event consisted of all types of Winter sports. Hockey matches, trotting races, fancy skating, and Tobogganing were just some of the events that took place. The offered mementos include a beautiful "Carnival of Winter Sports program" and a "Toboggan Club Member's Ticket", both of which are about Very Good to Excellent in overall condition due to a few light tears in each.
